Man dies in Galway hospital after fall from moving car

A young man has died in hospital from injuries he sustained when he fell out of a moving car in Co Galway earlier this week.

The man, who was in his mid 20s and from Roscommon, suffered severe head injuries when he fell out of the vehicle at Gurraun South in Oranmore on Monday night.

He died at University College Hospital in Galway yesterday evening.

Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident in Oranmore, but foul play is not suspected.
