A man charged in connection with a series of rammings by a stolen coach, which resulted in the death of a woman on the Naas Road in Dublin has been sent back to the District Court.

A man charged in connection with a series of rammings by a stolen coach, which resulted in the death of a woman on the Naas Road in Dublin has been sent back to the District Court.

The case of 36-year-old Peter Clarke, an employee of Dualway Coaches and with an address at Kiltalawn Court in Jobstown was listed today for mention at the Central Criminal Court in Dublin.

However counsel for both sides agreed the case for trial appeared to be one of manslaughter, which was not within the usual jurisdiction of that court.

Mr Justice Paul Carney remanded the accused in custody to appear again before the Dublin District Court.

Sixty-one-year-old teacher Máire Buckley, originally from Newcastle West, Co Limerick who was living in Donnycarney in Dublin, was killed after her car was crushed by a bus.
