The Northern Assembly has resumed its work amid tightened security following last Friday's attempted bomb attack at Stormont by loyalist killer Michael Stone.

Opening today's business, Speaker Eileen Bell described the incident as an assault on democracy and said security was being reviewed to examine future police presence, security measures and evacuation procedures.
