New deal set to improve sharing of sex offenders’ details

Minister for Justice Michael McDowell is set to sign an agreement with the British authorities today aimed at improving the sharing of information on sex offenders.

The memorandum of understanding will allow the Gardaí to track sex offenders coming to the Republic from the North and Britain.
