McGuinness undeterred by attempt on his life
Sinn Féin’s chief negotiator Martin McGuinness said today that he will not be deterred by the attempt on his life at Stormont yesterday.
Loyalist killer Michael Stone has been charged with attempted murder of Martin McGuiness and Gerry Adams.
The 51-year-old burst into Stormont yesterday carrying a number of weapons and a bag of explosives.
But Mr McGuiness said this afternoon that he would not allow threats like this to get in the way of restoring the North's political institutions.
