Convicted loyalist killer Michael Stone will appear in court today in connection with an attempted attack on the Parliament buildings in Stormont on Friday.

Convicted loyalist killer Michael Stone will appear in court today in connection with an attempted attack on the Parliament buildings in Stormont on Friday.

The PSNI said Stone, 51, will be charged with five counts of attempted murder, possession of articles for terrorist purposes, possession of explosives and possession of an imitation firearm when he appears at Belfast Magistrates Court.
