Man due in court over drug seizure

A forty two year old man is due to appear before Tralee District Court later today charged in connection with the seizure of 20,000 ecstasy tablets during an operation in Carrigaline, Co.Cork.

The seizure, the need to be confirmed with a forensic analysis, may have a potential street value of up to €200,000.

The drugs were found when Gardaí stopped and searched a man in Carrigaline Industrial Estate on Thursday night at half past nine

He's being detained at Togher Garda Station.
