3,680 arrests under operation against Dublin crime gangs

Gardaí have made 3,680 arrests over the past 18 months as part of an operation targeting criminal gangs in Dublin, according to Fianna Fáil TD Charlie O'Connor.

Mr O'Connor, a member of the Oireachtas Justice Committee, says €13.5m worth of property and more than 500 firearms have also been seized since Operation Anvil began in May of last year.
