Men due in court after drugs seizure

Two men in their twenties are due to appear before a special sitting of Portlaoise District court later today in connection with a drugs seizure in Abbeyleix on Friday.

Cocaine worth an estimated €35,000 was seized by gardaí after they stopped a car on the Cork Road in Abbeyleix.

The seizure was made as part of Operation Anvil.
