Fifth victim of Monaghan road crash buried today

The fifth victim of last weekend's head-on road crash in Co Monaghan is due to be laid to rest in Threemilehouse today.

Twenty-seven-year-old John McQuillan died in hospital in Drogheda on Monday evening from injuries he sustained in the collision in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The other four victims of the crash, who were aged between 19 and 22, were buried in Threemilehouse earlier this week.

All of those killed were from the locality.
