Man shot in leg in North attack

A man was recovering in hospital in the North today after being shot in what police said appeared to be a paramilitary-style attack.

The 31-year-old was shot in the leg late last night in Strabane, Co Tyrone. The attack took place in the Springhill Park area of the border town.
