Hundreds attend funeral of first Monaghan crash victim

One of the four young men killed in a horrific road accident in Co Monaghan over the weekend has been laid to rest in the village of Threemilehouse today.

Hundreds of mourners packed St Mary's Church for the funeral of 19-year-old Brian O'Neill.

The teenager and three of his friends died in a head-on collision between two cars in Kilnaclay in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Two of the other victims are due to be buried later this afternoon.
