Man in serious condition after stabbing at Mayo house

A man is in a serious condition in hospital in Co Mayo this morning after he was stabbed at a house in Castlebar.

Gardaí have arrested another man in connection with the incident, which happened in Manor Village at around 3.30am.

The victim is being treated at Mayo General Hospital.

The house where the stabbing took place has been sealed off for technical examination.
