Man charged after drug haul earlier in the week

A man's been charged in relation to a substantial drugs find in Clonmel earlier this week.

Raymond Gartland of 9 Ashgrove Lawn in Clonmel was charged at Clonmel District Court yesterday evening with possession of cannabis resin and amphetamines for the purpose of sale and supply.

The drugs had an estimated street value of €160,000

A second man, a juvenile was released without charge and a file is being sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
