Biker killed in crash

A motorcyclist died last night following a road crash in Monaghan.

The man in his 20s was fatally injured when his vehicle was in collision with a car on the N2 Carrickmacross by-pass.

His body has been removed to Cavan Hospital.

Gardaí from Carrickmacross Garda station are investigating the accident that happened shortly before 7pm.
