Gardaí investigating the disappearance of Waterford woman Margaret Meg Walshe have renewed their appeal to the public for assistance.

Gardaí investigating the disappearance of Waterford woman Margaret Meg Walshe have renewed their appeal to the public for assistance.

The 35 year old has been missing since this day last week.

In the early hours of last Sunday morning Margaret Meg Walshe left the Woodlands Hotel on Dunmore East Road in Waterford to return to her home in nearby Ballinakill.

However, she hasn't been seen since buy any of her friends and family.

The alarm was raised on Monday morning when the 35 year old failed to turn up for work.

Gardaí launched a search and on Wednesday her silver Mitsubishi Charisma was located 2 kilometers from her home.

Margaret Walshe is described as being 5’6" in height, with blonde shoulder length hair.

When last seen she was wearing brown jeans, a brown v neck jumper and brown boots.
