Man due in court in relation to €10m heroin seizure
A 36-year-old businessman is due in court this morning in connection with an international multi-million euro drug smuggling operation.
The man was arrested in Dublin last Wednesday following the seizure of €10m worth of heroin at an airport in southern Belgium.
The drugs were found in the luggage of a passenger who was about to board a private jet that had flown from Weston Aerodrome in County Kildare.
Four other men were also arrested in Belgium and Holland as part of the operation.
