Third man arrested over shooting of garda in Crumlin

A third man was arrested this afternoon in connection with the shooting of a garda in Dublin yesterday morning.

The garda sergeant was hit in the chest and hand with a sawn-off shotgun in Crumlin.

The man is being held in Rathmines Garda Station.

A 16-year-old and a 22-year-old are still being questioned in relation to the shooting.
