GRA ‘still considering legal options over garda reserve’

The Garda Representative Association has insisted that it has not given up hope of mounting a legal challenge to the proposed garda reserve.

The organisation has confirmed that it has dropped plans to challenge the new part-time force on health and safety grounds after receiving legal advice that such a case would not succeed.
