Hanafin faces protests by angry parents in Drogheda
Minister for Education Mary Hanafin has been faced protests from angry parents during a visit to a school in Drogheda, Co Louth, today.
At least 20 parents gathered outside the building to protest against the delay in finding a temporary site for their children's school in Laytown, Co Meath.
Almost 100 junior-infants pupils at Scoil Oilibhear Naofa are currently being taught in the school gym because of problems in securing a site for extra classrooms.
