Dawson Street suspect device declared a hoax

A suspect device found at a church on Dawson Street in Dublin at around 3pm this afternoon was later declared to be a hoax.

A suspect device found at a church on Dawson Street in Dublin at around 3pm this afternoon was later declared to be a hoax.

The army bomb disposal unit were sent to St. Anne’s Church scene to examine the device and the area was been cordoned off and traffic diversions put in place.

Shortly after 4pm, the army announced the device was a hoax, and all traffic diversions were removed.
