Three in every five babies in Ireland are being born to women over the age of 30, according to figures published by the Central Statistics Office today.

Three in every five babies in Ireland are being born to women over the age of 30, according to figures published by the Central Statistics Office today.

The figures also show that one-quarter of all registered births in the first quarter of this year were to mothers aged 35 and older.
