Govt under pressure to introduce meningitis vaccine

The Government is coming under renewed pressure to introduce a vaccine for one of the main causes of meningitis.

Pneumococcal disease is the second most common cause of meningitis in Ireland and can also cause other ailments like pneumonia and septicaemia.
