Gardaí release men held in relation to fatal Dublin stabbing
Gardaí in Dublin have released the three men arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing in the north of the city early yesterday.
The three were arrested after 26-year-old James Donoghue was found dead on Dane Road in Ballymun in the early hours of the morning.
Witnesses say he was stabbed twice in the chest and struck in the face with a bottle by four men who carried out the attack.
One of the detained men was released without charge last night, while the other two were freed this morning.
A file on the case is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
