750 jobs to be created at new shopping centre in Arklow

Seven hundred and fifty new jobs are set to be created at a new shopping centre under construction in Co Wicklow.

Some 400 people are already being employed in the construction phase of the €130m Bridgewater Shopping Centre in Arklow, which is due to open next year.

The developers say 750 jobs in a range of areas will be on offer when the project is completed.

The Taoiseach Bertie Ahern welcomed the announcement when he visited the construction site earlier today.
