ICTU accepts new social partnership deal

The Irish Congress of Trade Unions has voted to accept the new partnership agreement Towards 2016.

A special delegate conference is being held in Dublin today, where member unions were polled on the deal.

Serious reservations have been expressed about the pension provisions of the document although the ratification was widely expected.
