Warning over Codeine-based painkillers

People should be wary of the dangers of overusing the opium-based drug codeine found in many painkillers, pharmacists’ warned today.

The Irish Pharmaceutical Union (IPU) recommended people seek advice in their pharmacy before taking pain relievers.
