Tobacco industry accused of increasing nicotine

The tobacco industry in Ireland has been asked to come clean on whether or not nicotine levels have been increased in cigarettes on sale in Ireland.

New research in the US shows levels in several leading brands have been increased deliberately by manufacturers by up to 10%. Two of these brands are on sale here in Ireland.
