NRA to reveal details of archaeological digs on road sites

Details of the latest archaeological digs on the sites of new road projects are due to be outlined at a special seminar hosted by the National Roads Authority in Dublin today.

The NRA says major road schemes are turning up dozens of previously unknown sites, which are then being excavated and recorded for posterity.
