The Combat Poverty Agency says the Government is failing to achieve its own targets for tackling poverty in Ireland.

In its latest annual, the agency says the Fianna Fáil-Progressive Democrats coalition is still a long way from meeting its own deadline of reducing consistent poverty level to below 2% by next year.
