Woman and children hurt in truck crash

A woman and two children were seriously injured when their car collided with a truck in Co Tipperary.

Gardaí at Clonmel are investigating the serious road crash, which happened at 1.40pm today on the N24 at Ballinaraha, Kilsheelan.

The road crash occured about one and a half miles on the Carrick-on-Suir side of Kilsheelan village.

The woman and two children were taken to Waterford Regional Hospital where they are being treated for serious injuries.

The three occupants of the truck were unhurt.
