100,000 women per year seeking emergency contraception

More than 8,000 Irish women visit surgeries and clinics every month to avail of emergency contraception, a new report has revealed today.

The figures from International Medical Statistics reveal that more than 100,000 women seek the morning after pill per year in this country.
