Two face sentence for flying paramilitary flags
Two men convicted of flying loyalist paramilitary flags in Holywood, Co Down, are to be sentenced next month.
They were arrested by police after officers moved into the town’s Loughview estate on June 17 last year. Loyalist Volunteer Force flags were taken down.
Samuel Hill (age 35) and Dennis Quee (age 28) both from West Green, Holywood, appeared at North Down Magistrates’ Court today.
Their case was adjourned by resident magistrate Mervyn Bates until September 13 to allow probation reports to be finalised.
