Irish aid workers travelling from Syria to Beirut

A convoy of Irish aid workers and supplies is due to travel overland from the Syrian capital Damascus to Lebanon later today.

The convoy is being organised by the Christina Nobel Foundation to help civilians who have had to flee Southern Lebanon and take refuge in Beirut.
