Woman’s body found in house in Cork city

A woman's body has been found in a house in Blackpool in Cork city.

It is understood another woman walked into a taxi office earlier this morning covered in blood.

She was taken to hospital, where she claimed to have killed her daughter.

Gardaí are said to have gone to a house on the Old Commons Road in Blackpool, where they found the dead woman's remains.

They are treating the death as suspicious.
