Murdered Cobh girl Sheola Keaney to be laid to rest today
The 19-year-old woman found murdered in Co Cork at the weekend is due to laid to rest today.
Sheola Keaney, from Cobh, was last seen alive on Friday morning and was reported missing after failing to show up for work that night.
Her body was found on Sunday evening hidden in undergrowth near a rugby club in the town.
A post mortem revealed she had been strangled.
Hundreds of people attended the removal of her remains at St Colman's Cathedral last night.
The teenager is due to be buried following Requiem Mass at 2pm today.
Gardaí, meanwhile, are continuing their investigation into her murder. No arrests have yet been made.
