Aer Lingus passengers still stranded at Malaga Airport
More than 200 Aer Lingus passengers remain stranded at Malaga Airport in southern Spain today following problems with their plane over the weekend.
A total of around 400 passengers were affected when the aircraft was damaged after being struck by a piece of ground equipment on Sunday night.
Around 200 were eventually flown home last night, but the remainder will have to wait until later today before Aer Lingus can bring them to Dublin.
A spokesperson for the airline said all the affected passengers had been offered overnight accommodation in Spain.
