Fatal Nenagh crash brings weekend death toll to six
Irish roads have claimed yet another life - this time that of a woman in Nenagh, Co Tipperary.
Six people were killed in five separate road accidents this weekend, bringing the death-toll for the week to 19.
The latest death comes as the Bishop of Killaloe, Dr Willie Walsh, appeals to drivers to be more careful in the wake of this week's carnage on the roads.
Dr Walsh said that every road death is story of a young life cut off prematurely and heartbroken families.
Three of this weekend's victims died in nearby Limerick; the other two in Kilkenny and Wexford.
