Gardaí name teenage girl killed in Co Kilkenny crash

Gardaí have named the 14-year-old girl who was killed in a crash in Co Kilkenny last night.

Local girl Catherine Doyle from Mile Post, Slieverue was one of five young people to die on the roads so far this weekend in four separate accidents.

The latest victim is a 20-year old motorcyclist who died when his bike was involved in a collison with a car this morning on the Arklow road in Gorey, Co Wexford.

A few hours earlier, another 20-year-old man died when his van went out of control in Limerick, while the second of two girls involved in yesterday's accident in Limerick lost her fight for life in hospital.
