Teenage girl killed in Limerick crash

A 16-year-old girl has been killed when the car she was travelling in crashed into a ditch in Co Limerick overnight.

The collision happened at Killinane, in Galbally, at around 12.50am.

Two other people were also injured in the collision and have been brought to Limerick Regional Hospital.

The road will remain closed this morning for a technical examination.
