Dublin rally to protest at Israeli offensive in Gaza

A rally is being held in Dublin city centre this afternoon in protest at Israel's continuing operations in the Gaza strip.

The Ireland Palestine Solidarity campaign is calling on the Government to take a strong stance in support of the Palestinian people.

Violence has worsened in the region in the past week since the capture of an Israeli soldier.

The Israeli army today launched a new raid into Gaza, resulting in the death of three Palestinians.

David Landy of the Solidarity Campaign today called on people to show their support at the rally.
