Average industrial wage almost €600 a week

The average industrial wage in Ireland now sits at almost €600 a week – a 2.6% rise on the same period last year, a survey revealed today.

According to figures from the Central Statistics Office for March 2006 industrial earnings are up 2.7% on last year, but workers are doing just under 40 hours a week.
