The body of a man has been recovered from the River Smearla in Co Kerry.

The body of a man has been recovered from the River Smearla in Co Kerry.

Ballybunion coastguard and gardaí were involved in the operation to take the body from the water at Knockbrack near Lyrecrompane at around 9pm last night.
