Fresh funding plea over world's poorest country

Fresh calls have been made for Irish citizens to raise much needed funds for the poorest country in the world.

A year after a locust invasion devoured thousands of hectares of crops, the people of Niger still need our help, according to Jeff Radcliffe, of the Irish Red Cross.
