Gardaí release suspect in attack on Brazilian teenager
One of the youths arrested in connection with an attack on a 14-year-old Brazilian boy in Tallaght this week has been released.
A second is still being held at Tallaght Garda Station.
Gilmar Mandiangu said he was forced into a house near his home where he was forced to work by a number of youths and was shot in the eye with a pellet gun.
Gardaí conducted a number of searches after the attack was reported and seized pellet guns, a meat cleaver and pepper spray.
The 14 year-old's family have been living in the area for nine years and Gardai believe the incident was not racially motivated
