Six injured in two-car collision in Tipperary

Six people have been injured in a car crash in Co Tipperary.

Two of them are believed to have sustained serious injuries and have been taken to hospital in Cashel.

The two-car, head-on collision happened on the road between Horse and Jockey and Cashel at around 3pm.

A section of the main N8 Cork to Dublin road has been blocked off and it is understood that it will remain closed for some time.
