Minister praises Irish peacekeepers in Kosovo
The Minister for Defence Willie O’Dea has praised the work of the Irish peacekeeping troops in Kosovo.
Speaking on a visit to the volatile province earlier this week, Minister O'Dea said the humanitarian projects carried out by the Irish distinguished them from other international forces serving there.
Over 200 Irish troops are involved in a number of projects, including raising money and donating equipment to a special needs orphanage in Kosovo.
