Man arrested after death of woman in Galway apartment

Gardaí in Galway have arrested a man in connection with the death of a young woman whose body was found in an apartment in the city this morning.

The woman, who is believed to have been in her 20s, was found dead in an apartment on Fr Griffin Avenue at around 6.30am following an emergency call to the Gardaí.
