Two arrested in connection with Dundalk murder released

Gardaí have released the two men arrested earlier this week in connection with the murder of Dundalk woman Irene White.

The pair, aged 34 and 43, were arrested in the Dundalk area on Wednesday morning on suspicion of withholding information about the killing of the 43-year-old mother-of-three.

However, they were released without charge overnight.

Ms White was found lying in a pool of blood after being stabbed to death in the kitchen of her Dundalk home in April of last year.
