Army divers to search sunken trawler tomorrow

Army divers are to conduct a fresh investigation of sunken trawler the Maggie B tomorrow morning.

It follows a meeting this week between Minister Pat ‘The Cope’ Gallagher and the family of missing fisherman Glen Cott.

The 30-year-old from Ballycotton is one of two fishermen presumed dead after the boat sank off the coast of Hook Head in March.

His relatives have since been calling for the trawler to be raised.

Defence Minster Willie O'Dea has now agreed to send divers down to the wreck at first light tomorrow.
